Heel replacement O sole mio
Heel replacement is possible for footwear produced using the so-called “Strobel” technique, in other words, footwear from the ALL TERRAIN CLASSIC and ALL TERRAIN SPORT lines. “Strobel” is a shoemaking technique in which the non-woven insole is sewn on to the upper using the Strobel stitch, thus forming a solid unit. The outsole is then sprayed on. The heel of this sprayed on sole can be sanded down and a new standard outdoor heel glued on in its place. A complete sole replacement is not possible with this footwear design, since a sprayed-on sole cannot be removed without damaging the upper.

You will find the name of your shoe on the label attached to the inner face of the shoe’s tongue.
How it works
The first point of contact for all repairs within the 24-month warranty is your LOWA specialist retailer. Thanks to their expertise, your retailer can best judge what steps to take, or if your boots should be sent for repair or to make a complaint. If it is a complaint within the 24-month warranty, then take the boots to the retailer or send them in if they were purchased online or elsewhere (all retailers can be found here). Always attach a copy of the receipt to the boots and a short letter describing the problem. The retailer will then look after the rest of the complaint process. Direct submission to LOWA is not possible in a warranty case.

Remove the insole and laces from the footwear.
Pack your shoes in a box. Attach a short letter to the box, in which you briefly explain what repair should be carried out on your footwear. Please don’t forget to give your own address.

Now you need to be patient. Your repaired shoes and invoice will be sent back to your home within around 2 to 3 weeks.
